Precision Electrical & Air has successfully completed the installation of dual air conditioning systems at a residential property in Tarragindi. This project involved the provision and installation of a Daikin ducted system on the upper level, along with a Daikin high-wall split system positioned in the downstairs living area.

Precision Electrical & Air carried out an extensive installation of the Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW ducted air conditioning system. The indoor unit was strategically placed within the ceiling space above the void, while the condenser was securely mounted on the front balcony wall using rubber feet to enhance stability. All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were meticulously concealed within ductwork exiting from the ceiling space.

To ensure effective water drainage, two drainage systems were installed from the indoor unit and safety tray, leading to the external gutter. The installation included the careful placement of ducting, branch take-offs, zone motors, and air plenums throughout the ceiling space, ensuring seamless integration with the indoor unit. A return air grille was installed in the upstairs hallway to optimise airflow within the entire system.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was established, extending from the switchboard to the outdoor unit, featuring an NHP isolation switch conveniently located next to the condenser. In the upstairs hallway, a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed, enabling intuitive temperature control directly linked to the zone motors.

In the downstairs living room, the Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW high-wall reverse cycle split system was installed with great attention to detail. New ducting, interconnect cables, and copper pair coils were added to connect the indoor and outdoor units, with the condenser mounted on rubber feet to ensure stability during operation.

A dedicated electrical circuit was established from the switchboard to the outdoor condenser, which included an NHP isolation switch for improved safety. An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed beneath the indoor unit and connected to the nearest stormwater downpipe, facilitating efficient drainage. Upon completion, the system underwent thorough commissioning to guarantee optimal performance.
